Captain Othman bin Mat Taib is a highly accomplished aviation professional with over 40 years of experience in both military and civil aviation, specializing in flight operations, aviation safety, regulatory oversight, inspections, and flight training.
He began his career in the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) in 1979, serving as a fighter pilot, instructor pilot, and flight examiner, flying aircraft such as the A4 Skyhawk, MB-339A, Tebuan CL41G, and Pilatus PC-7. He retired with the rank of Major after 14 years of distinguished military service.
